SFL Data is seeking a Discovery Solutions Consultant to join its Search Team.  The experienced individual will serve as a “search” subject matter expert for corporate, law firm and internal clients.  You will be required to work in collaboration with the Case Team to develop and drive defensible “search” strategies using best of breed software and developed workflow.   In this role you will also be required to develop strong consultative relationships with clients; to identify critical path for client objectives and ensure project success. 

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with internal/external clients to create, develop, implement and memorialize a comprehensive and defensible search strategies to assist clients in identifying relevant data
• Deliver detailed, professional and energetic client trainings
• If needed, act as first line support to respond to or troubleshoot client questions and issues related to customer facing software
• Develop thorough understanding of project workflow, critical path and timelines
• Coordinate and determine best practices with application, function and workflow
• Foster client relationship and ensure overall satisfaction
• Build efficient team approach and facilitate effective communications
• Set proper expectations for scope, deadlines and cost
• Work within timelines and budget parameters
• Assure quality, accuracy and timeliness of all aspects of implementation
• Delegate tasks to appropriate inter-departmental staff
• Develop, document and distribute best practice solutions to organization
• Provide preliminary sales consulting as requested and approved by your manager
• Attend training and achieve and maintain appropriate certifications as determined by the company
• Participate in software and technology evaluations and proof of concepts to help identify, select and test new products

Qualifications:
• A minimum 5 – 10 years experience as attorney, paralegal, and/or litigation support
• Experience with electronic discovery and current technologies
• Ability and desire to quickly learn, understand, operate, support and train internal and external clients on a variety of litigation support software (i.e. Relativity, Clearwell, Concordance, LAW, etc.)
• Exceptionally strong capabilities related to database searching (theory, syntax, etc)
• Past experience developing a “search approach” or game plan related to the identification of relevant information in a culling or review phase of litigation
• Previous experience utilizing approaches such as early case assessment, linguistic analysis, statistical sampling, “term building” or other techniques to drive search methodology
• Strong team leadership and keen ability to achieve consensus
• Exceptional analytical and logical skills
• Ability to coordinate and conduct client presentations and trainings
• Effective written and oral communications
• Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Flexibility and adaptability to handle a changing and growing work load
• Thorough knowledge of project management and information management methodology
• Positive and professional relationships at all levels
