New VP of eDiscovery Services to Ensure Adherence to EDRM, FRCP

San Francisco, Calif. — Discovia, a leading electronic discovery solutions provider for corporations, government agencies and law firms, recently hired Kimberly Quan as vice president of eDiscovery services. She will provide clients with end-to-end support through the eDiscovery process from preservation through production. As the main point of contact for enterprise clients, Ms. Quan will monitor litigation and investigative development while enhancing efficiency. Previously, she was the director of technology consulting for FTI Consulting, where she led teams from San Francisco and Washington D.C. through large-scale electronically stored information (ESI) projects for leading U.S. corporations and AmLAW 100 law firms.

“Kimberly is well-known in this industry for her attention to detail and cordiality – two valuable and welcome traits during the often trying litigation process,” said Discovia CEO Christian Lawrence. “She’s well-versed in a variety of ESI matters, and we’re excited about the new level of expertise she’s bringing to Discovia.”

Ms. Quan gains efficiency and saves money for Discovia’s clients by keeping up-to-date archives of key custodians’ data when working across multiple cases or investigations for a business entity. This holistic approach to the litigation process captures re-usability for clients by preventing unnecessary replication during collection, processing and review. She will also implement Discovia’s managed eDiscovery services into clients’ litigation plans while ensuring adherence to the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (FRCP).

Throughout her career, Ms. Quan has directed ESI-related projects as a trusted advisor for Fortune 200 corporations and law firms, created standards and best practices for client engagements, and negotiated legal transactional analysis. In her spare time, she has volunteered as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) guardian ad litem to give children a voice in court. Ms. Quan graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles with a B.S. in Political Science and a minor in Business Administration.
