David Swider Joins SF Legal Electronic Discovery Team

"Mr. Data Hosting" Brings 25 Years of Direct Litigation Support Experience; Develops Time and Cost-Saving Database Solutions that Simplify Collection, Culling and Review Processes

San Francisco, CA -- December 17, 2008 -- San Francisco Legal today announced that David M. Swider has joined the firm as an electronic data discovery solutions consultant. Swider has 25 years of experience working with firms that provide litigation support to major law firms and corporations. He is certified in the administration of multiple data hosting solutions and highly experienced with the wide variety of software tools and technologies used for data collection, review and production. Most recently, Swider was the western regional manager with San Francisco-based Syngence Corporation, a position he attained after serving as Syngence’ director of sales engineering and as director of training and implementation. Previously, Swider served as director of digital services for Applied Solutions, Inc., also based in San Francisco.

Swider will head up SF Legal’s data hosting offerings, including helping clients streamline their review processes using the company’s Relativity platform. He will also manage the company’s Tape Engine offline tape backup and data restoration services.

Before launching his document management career in Boston, Swider studied business administration at Northeastern University and majored in computer science at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia. In his free time, Swider serves as president of BMW Motorcycle Owners of America, the largest BMW motorcycle club with 40,000 members worldwide.
